About the Founder
Rachel Miller-Bleich, MA, CP, CAE brings deep experience and expertise in nonprofit and association governance, including managing boards and large membership bodies, nominations and elections, volunteer engagement, bylaws and policy development and parliamentary procedure. Her 20+ year career spans administrative and leadership roles in various organizations - from large membership associations to small nonprofits. As a consultant, Rachel helps leaders and staff address a variety of governance issues, based on applicable rules and best practices.
Rachel’s practice is informed by a confluence of professional expertise and passions. As a seasoned association management professional, Rachel brings a wealth of practical experience in the proper administration of nonprofits and associations. This, along with her education in organizational science, equips her to provide clients with rich insight into how effective governance impacts long-term organizational health. As a parliamentarian, she is deeply passionate about leveraging knowledge and fluency in parliamentary procedure to help governing bodies and delegations operate in a manner that is fair, efficient and productive.
Rachel holds an MA in Organizational Science from The George Washington University and a BA in Theatre/Dance from Luther College. Rachel is a Certified Parliamentarian (CP), a Certified Association Executive (CAE), and holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting from BoardSource. Rachel is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and the American Institute of Parliamentarians. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Institute of Parliamentarians Education Foundation.
